Paged Archive Plugin v1.1

Filed in: Movable Type.

The Paged Archives Plugin is done! This superceeds the Paged Categories plugin - upgrading from one to the other is a simple matter of taking the old .pl file out, putting pagedarchives.pl in, and doing a search and replace on the tags in your category template. I'm using Paged Archives on my weblog now - only the categories and main index support though. My monthly archives don't tend to get all that large.

I've addressed pretty much everything raised in the previous discussion...

So, why is the title of the page "Paged Categories Plugin" and not "Paged Archive Plugin" then? ;)

Shhhh, no it isn't! ;)

Thanks for the plugin and your hardwork. I shall try it out and see if it works on our blog. This is exactly what we have been looking for!

Its only for blogs with dinamyc system (PHP)?
I have a blog with pages in html and i put the tags required:
<MTEntries>
<MTPAEntry>
(....)
</MTEntries>
<MTPAEnd>

Show the correct number pages of pagination ("Page....of 2" ,for example) but not paginate, display all entries.
Any suggestion?

It's only for blogs with static publishing. This plugin doesn't work with dynamic publishing.

My blog is static. The tag ubication its correct?
<MTEntries>
<MTPAEntry>
(....)
</MTEntries>
<MTPAEnd>

1. I install plugin.
2. Put the tags and
3. I configure in the panel the number the post to show.
4. For porpuse test only put the tag of "Page of ". Nothing more.
5. Rebuild the blog.

All in the CATEGORY template.
Not paginate, show all entries.
Its necessary other tags? which?
Thanks.

That looks correct to me.

If you check in the system activity log (you can get to it from the main menu of MT) are there any errors related to the plugin? Some other possible issues:
Which version of Movable Type are you using?
Have you got any other plugins installed?
