Alden Bates' WeblogFeigning normality since 1973Once More...Filed in: Music. Is there a word for when you have so much music that you've lost track of what you actually own? I was looking through my CDs last night and discovered I had a copy of "Once More, With Feeling", the soundtrack to the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode of the same name. I'd completely forgotten I had it, and I still can't remember when or where I bought it. Being it came out in 2002, it could have been during one of my trips over to the states for the Gallifrey One convention, or I might have ordered it online. I'm now wondering what other CDs I've bought, put away and forgotten about... Posted January 22, 2009 7:08 PM CommentsThe word for having too much music, sir, is 'polyharmony'. OK, it's not, but I want it to be. I have the opposite problem - I seem to be LOSING my CDs. They are not being pinched, they just apparently...dissolve. Or, I could be hiding them from myself, which is a great talent of mine with almost any sort of item. Posted by: Jeff Stone | January 24, 2009 5:39 PM Post a comment | |
I discovered a few CDs I had forgotten about WAY back when I converted all of my music CDs to MP3s. Most of my CDs now just sit quietly in boxes awaiting the day I have to rerip them (which hopefully won't be any time soon!)
